#7 - MultipleConsecutiveHeartAttacks
Oh she is awesome. She's humble and everything (haha - except in front of Koh.) Look at that look of concentration on her little Aoba face. She's totally awesome with a baseball in her hands. AOBA YOU ROCK MY SOCKS OFF - YAY FOR AWESOME LADIES!!!
Naturally she gets picked for tryouts. How can she NOT get picked for tryouts?!?! Oh just look at their faces when they see how she pitches at the tryouts.
YEAH SUCKA SHE IS THAT GOOD. Don't just stand there with the little =O expression on your face, just fangirl over her already or something!!!
Oh, I love this girl. She is awesome. If you didn't know already. She backs up-
So TRUE, AOBA!!!
Well, okay, so it's another homerun from Azuma. No biggie. He can't go easy on her and that's a compliment to her pitching skills. We know this because he's Azuma and he's like that but then Koh says-
Hahaha. I shall leave this episode at that, because after all I've spoilt for you I refuse to spoil the best (the worst....?) part of the episode which involves Aoba. Since this episode is obviously just for her. Just watch it yourself if you haven't already. Noooow.
Thank you, Asami Mizuki, for totally making my day (well. Night. Since it's night now.)
He just casually mentioned that KOH was the only boy she ever wrote about in her journals (well basically because she was real prone to insulting him just about all the time, but you know. That's not really the point. We don't care about what she writes, it's WHO she writes about that matters. The point is,) KOH!! In HER JOURNALS!! It's like painting the signs (whichever signs it may be) in neon colours. Oh it is happening, peoples. My Cross Game babies are going to admit one day that they are in love with something other than baseball, Koshien, and Wakaba.
"It's funny though. Elementary school. Middle school. High school...how much do you need to insult one guy??"
"...how long has she been watching..."
"...what he does??"
-Mizuki.
Oh I'll tell you, Asami Mizuki. Or you can figure it out yourself cause you a smart mountain climbing man.
I hope you're enjoying this, Aoba.
-Koh before his awesome coolio pitch of baseball doom.
It's a Christmas miracle. Someone really loves us Kohba/Aoboh/Oh it just sounds stupid when I acronym-mitize it fans. Adachi really loves us. I really love Adachi. It's a two-way deal that benefits both of us.
And also special mention to Junpei for telling Aoba to sit up and pay Koh some compliments....when it's over. Not when they WIN, like she's hoping/saying/you can tell it's Aoba my gosh of course she would want them to win, but when it's OVER. She looks at him like she doesn't know what on earth to say, because OMG it's another cliffhanger.
WHAT WILL ADACHI DOOO~OOO~OOO??? I DO NOT KNOOOO~OOOOO~OOOW. I GOTTA WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT CHAPTER, but I gotta feelin'.
That tonight's gonna be a good night, that tonight's gonna be a goo~ooood night, that tonight's gonna be a good-good niiiii~iiight.

#4 - Our Days Of Laughter
The art IS beautiful. [Especially at the parts where they animate that evening sunlight effect.] The colours are vivid and clean and very pretty to look at.
Still. The best part of this anime are the two main characters, and some very likable side characters as well. Kazehaya is not your typical shoujo lead guy, and neither is Sawako your typical shoujo lead girl.
*HERE I HAVE AN ABSOLUTTTT FANGIRL MOMENT.*
Kazehaya and Sawako are one of THE BEST anime couples out there right now. Although the anime is of the shoujo genre, the character development and the pacing of the episodes are good. Sawako never gets on my nerves even when she has that scary-but-actually-really-nice-and-innocent personality which is a typical shoujo cliche, and somehow or other she manages to pull it off (also kudos to the plot, I guess.) I love watching her character development, and she's just too lovable to hate. Everything she does just makes her more endearing.
To Kazehaya, of course. =)
Kazehaya is the PERFECT male lead for Sawako. Their relationship is simple and tender, and Kazehaya is surprisingly shy at times (which makes him awesome and all the more real) It is apparent right from the beginning that he really likes her, and I love the fact that although Sawako always assumes that she wouldn't be anything without Kazehaya, he acknowledges that it was all her own work and that she is also teaching him new things.
*FANGIRL SQUEE*
The sweetest relationship around, I swear. A change from one of my other favourite anime couples - Koizumi Risa and Otani Atsushi (is that how you spell it?) of LoveCom fame. [Which I SHALL be rewatching soon, at the end of the year.]
Besides them, the side characters add a lot to the story, (the Ryuu-Chizu storyline in the manga is becoming a bit annoying, however) by helping the development of the main characters. Generally, they don't annoy me (most of the time, the side characters annoy me, so this is a good thing.)
Character designs follow the manga, so I'm not going into that.
I mentioned about voice acting in one of my previous posts, and how I didn't really like it - well, it does sort of grow on you, and the voices are remarkably suited to the characters (even if I don't like Sawako's voice like that...still.)
Overall ~ this is one of those anime, in the category of TO WATCH. A good thing, since there hasn't been a lot of new GOOD shoujo anime lately. I think the last one that I watched was Skip Beat (had its great moments, but nothing like the manga, plus: Kyoko's voice somewhat grated on my nerves.)
Latest episode for Kimi Ni Todoke? Episode four, which I am watching tomorrow. Cheers. =D
